Hakan Rüstem, the founding director of Rudex, was born in 1987 in London. After completing his primary and secondary education in Northern Cyprus, he moved to London for his higher education. He graduated with First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of East London, following his Advanced Business studies at Herford Regional College. Subsequently, he successfully passed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams and earned the title of Chartered Accountant.

Hakan Rüstem began his professional career in London in 2004, working in various accounting firms and holding significant positions in international corporate organizations. In 2012, he returned to Northern Cyprus and provided services in auditing, accounting, and reporting for the country’s leading firms. During his career in Northern Cyprus, he gained experience in local regulations, structural issues of businesses, and especially accounting infrastructures across different sectors.

In his consultancy work, he has specialized in International Accounting Systems, Regulatory Compliant Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Market Research, Investment Consultancy, Corporate Training Management, Corporate Reporting, and various software applications. Additionally, he possesses extensive knowledge and experience in company formation, foreign investor consultancy, tax consultancy, and real estate consultancy in Northern Cyprus.

Together with his professional strategic solution partners and strong team members, Hakan Rüstem has specialized in integrated reporting system structuring for family businesses, developing learning programs tailored to corporate needs, and modelling services specific to investor needs. He has strong management and communication skills and possesses a robust human resources network both domestically and internationally.
