The main goal of this program is to gain knowledge, skills and high awareness about the effects and use of communication skills, which are becoming increasingly important today, on relationships, success and productivity in business life; to share perspectives that bring solutions to emotion-based problems, as well as to observe their contribution to belonging and intrinsic motivation.
MAGIC STICK
Inspired by the classic Magic Bamboo activity, we developed a new tool in line with the needs of trainers. For success, we need to be able to act in harmony together, and in order to achieve this, we need to listen as well as communicate in order to use all communication channels effectively.
1. Team building: Communicating, focusing on goals, influencing each other.
2. Leadership: Taking on a leadership role, expressing one’s ideas effectively.
BIG PUZZLE
The key to success in such a challenging endeavor lies in open communication, active listening and strategic thinking. The Big Puzzle project is a real treasure box for team communication professionals.
In this exercise, teams try to complete the puzzle by putting together the large pieces given to them. However, the puzzle placers’ eyes are closed and they are unable to hear with the help of the music and the guides.
1. Communication skills: demonstrating the relationship between the giver and the receiver, experiencing multiple channels of communication, seeing the effects of explicit and implicit statements.
2. To guide: to gather information, to be on the trail, to gather attention.
3. Team development: active listening, elimination of misunderstandings, proper use of information flow, discipline in communication.
CONNECTED-CONNECTED PAIRS – MUTUAL INTERACTION
In everyday life, teams find solutions to certain issues only when all team members “take responsibility”. This project vividly demonstrates how important cooperation and guidance are in order to work as a real team. The task of the group is to pick up the ball from the ground with a shovel-shaped pipe and take it to the designated area.
1. Activation: The practice is carried out by all team members to focus on team play.
2. Organizing: The most effective self-organization of the group without explicitly defining roles within the team. The key element here is to identify the tasks and assign those responsible for the successful realization of the work.
3. Team building: collaborate, communicate, focus on goals, provide guidance, identify interdependencies in the system. Personal-organization: concentrating, focusing.
