Conflicts that occur from time to time in business life can cause negativity if not managed correctly. To gain knowledge, skills and high awareness about the effects and use of Conflict Management on relationships, success and productivity in business life; to share perspectives that bring solutions to emotion-based problems.
Since conflict and stubbornness solve nothing but mutual loss, this indoor exercise is an exercise in which teams need to demonstrate their negotiation and influencing skills, in a sense to turn them into performance.
In the fiction, four independent countries surround a mountain. The mountain offers alternative possibilities for a television tower that would benefit all four countries with different construction areas. However, due to different norms and factors for each country, there are different ideas for possible television tower construction sites.
Expectations for the proposed tower construction are flying high, including differences in tower height, visual design, and even the budget allocated by countries for the project and the dates available to start tower construction.
There is pressure for reconciliation but there is no projected budget. Do you think the teams, each representing a country, will be able to come out of this mess and find a compromise?
The outcome emphasizes the importance of practicing skillful negotiation strategies, basically identifying each country’s needs, being prepared to make concessions and, above all, the importance of teams mastering the boundary ranges within which they will make concessions.
